Well, this will be the 12th blog that I have, or am a part of, and I told myself, 11 blogs? Who has 11 blogs? And I want to do another one? I have to at least delete one blog before I start another one! But, I couldn't bring myself to do it! I love all of my blogs! Even though two of them only have 1 blog entry each.
Those blogs are I love you, Babe- a private blog intended for Josh's eyes only. Originally intended to announce my pregnancy in a new and creative way. I never really got pregnant and stayed pregnant since then, so yes, it only has one entry. We hope for it to have more entrys. A few more entries in fact.
The other blog that only has one entry is Megan's Mission in Life. Yep, I guess I only have one mission in life. And I don't even remember what it is!
Creating blogs for me is liking eating candy. I love doing it and it tastes so good the first time: Look! A new blog! Everyone will read it and I will become famous and make lots of money like Julie from the
Julie/Julia project- which I love by the way.
When, in reality, the new blog quickly becomes an old, tired blog and I neglect it because I have too many blogs already.
This blog is different. It's not made to make money or become wickedly rich. It's made for me. To track my progress on a lifetime goal I've had all my life- To own a red 1980's Mazda Miata Convertible. That's right. A red one! The one I saw in the middle of a glossy magazine as I searched for pictures to clip for a fifth grade art project.
I still remember the day. There, I was in class, minding my own business, when suddenly a two page fold out of the cutest, tiniest, reddest, shiniest car popped out at my 11 year old eyes. My heart began to race and I knew I wanted one of those. One day. I quickly cut it out, stuck it in my backpack and took it home to goggle at whenever I wanted. I was like a 14 year old looking at the bare chest of Taylor Lautner (rawr!)
I have reached my other life time goals of getting married (thank you very much, Josh!), having children (and still want more- so, thank you Elizabeth, Ethan, Jonah and Asher), graduating from college with not too much debt and teaching elementary school for one year (thank you BYU and LDS Church tithing payers and Southland Elementary School and it's principal for trusting me enough to hire me after 8 other rejections) and running a 5k. My next goals are to play the piano all my life and own a Mazda Miata.
So, I combine both goals and decided to teach piano lessons from my home and earn enough money to buy my Miata. It will take me ten years of teaching two hours of piano a week, but I am going to do it! Slowly but surely.
This is my 12th blog, my name is Megan A.
